The Company is headed by MacDonald Temane, the first black person to hold a diamond manufacturers' licence

He is a qualified rough buyer and polisher, and holds a Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) certificate in polished diamonds with 8 years of experience in the diamond industry.

He serves on the following Committees:

• South African Diamond Board
• Chairperson of the Section 59 Committee, which regulates the inflow and outflow of diamonds in South Africa
• Diamond Manufacturers Association (DMA), which is a member of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses
• The National Black Business Caucus
• Masemo Investment Holdings and a few other companies
