Legend has it that the first African to discover a large diamond, was a Motswana herdboy called Morokweng. It is in his honour that our company was first registered as Morokweng Diamonds.

Now our Company is registered as Masingita Diamonds because of the miracles we managed to achieve in our business. Masingita means "miracles" in the Shangaan language, and our Holding Company is also known as the Masingita Group.

Our trading name, however, is still MJM Diamonds named after our rough diamond buying office in Taung in the North West Province of South Africa.

Ironically this office is right in the heart of South Africa's diamond fields. Our supply of diamonds second to none.
